Paul has over 20 years’ experience working in Local Government across the North West region on a range of local development plans and masterplans. Most recently Plan has led on work for the Lancaster District Local Plan and the exploration of strategic growth in South Lancaster via the Bailrigg Garden Village project

Founding Director of Civic Engineers, he is passionate about urban infrastructure and sets about his work aiming to engineer less; this is about clustering and proximity, reaching first for nature-based solutions and applying these principles with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Noel has practised as a landscape architect for over 30 years, with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. His work is founded upon the belief that landscape makes an essential contribution to environmentally responsible and sustainable communities.

John Quinton
Professor of Soil Science at Lancaster University. He is passionate about protecting soils for future generations and restoring degraded soils and is a founding member of the Soils Taskforce. He has travelled the world researching and writing about soils and draws on this experience in his teaching of Soil Science at Lancaster.
